I have received a parking ticket. What happens now?
If you have caused a parking ticket, you are also obliged to cover the costs.
First, the Belgian authorities send us the ticket. As soon as we have identified you as the driver, we forward your information on to them.
Afterwards, you will receive the ticket from us via email, while the original will be sent to you in the post.
We will pay the fine directly to the authorities and charge you for the costs.
In addition, we will charge a processing fee, which we will debit from your payment method.
You will receive an invoice with the overview of the costs via email, but you can also find it in your MILES account.
Please note:
As we are dependent on the processing time of the authorities, parking tickets can also be linked to rides that took place several months prior.
You can appeal the fine by contacting the authorities directly. You can find their contact details on the original fine that we have sent you. Your time limit for appealing to the authorities does not start until the traffic fine has been sent to you by mail.
If the authorities accept the appeal and drop the charges, please let us know. We will immediately initiate the refund.
